Dropping RPM
Hi everyone, my auto 1997 523i is currently having an issue where when im in drive and coming to a stop the rpm will drop down to the white line and struggle to recover its revs, if I take my foot off of the brake when this is happening it feels like the car is jerking forward. The exact same thing will happen in reverse also but as soon as I put it into neutral or park it seems to recover straight away. I have replaced the ICV with a refurbished bosch one and I have sprayed brake cleaner sparingly around the pipes to check for an air leak to which the rpm didn't seem to dip at any point, the fuel pump has also been replaced to an uprated walbro one. The MAF sensor has also been unplugged and that made it alot worse so I dont believe it is that.
Any help would be very much appreciated as to what this issue is.
