How many of you play for the fame and the fortune? It came up in conversation that the bagpipers in our neck of the woods only do it for the money. And if that’s the case I’m waiting for the money to show up.

I’m pretty sure there’s a lot better ways to make money. Hell, the best bagpipers in the world all seem to have full time jobs and if it is from bagpiping it’s from manufacturing, designing, retail, or education. Not from cranking out Amazing Grace at great aunty Margaret’s funeral.

What’s your take if you are more or less accused of naked profiteering?
