It was really nice of you to try and let me in. The kindness of the gesture was immaculate.

But that's not how it works.

If you are in the circle, don't stop to let people in. It's very dangerous.

If you are not in the circle, and there are no cars approaching you in the circle, proceed into the circle.

If you are not in the circle and there ***are*** cars approaching you in the circle, stop and wait until it's safe to enter the circle.

You should never be cutting someone off when you enter the circle.
