Teaching 10 year old

Trying to teach 10 year old

We're going to the lake with family soon and my 10 year old cousin has wanted to try waterskiing. We only have a set of adult skis, I'm guessing 64-67 inches maybe - could we try to teach him on that or will it be too big?

Having a tough time finding affordable, youth skis but don't want to set him up for failure with skis that are way too big and discourage him from trying again in the future.

Trying to teach 10 year old

We're going to the lake with family soon and my 10 year old cousin has wanted to try wakeboarding. I have a 139cm liquid force board with smaller women's bindings - could we try to teach him on that or will it be too big?

Don't really want to go buy a smaller board for the once a year they're on the boat, but also don't want to set him up for failure with a board that's way too big and discourage him from trying again in the future.

If this board will work, would love advice on how to teach him to get up.

What size wakeboard?

Hi all, looking for some suggestions on wakeboard size. I'm a 5'7 woman about 165 pounds and am learning to wakeboard behind a 2008 Tige. What size board would you all recommend?

As far as skill goes, I can get up consistently and go in and out of the wake but still working on riding switch or jumping the wake, so definitely a beginner but would like to get more skilled. I've seen anywhere from 134-140 recommend but curious what might be best given the info above.

Thanks!
