If you aren't using the dead drops as storage, I highly recommend it.

You can use them as a means to stash product around the map to sell. I'll often take out a few cops and stash their weapons in the dead drop right outside the pawn shop.

IIRC they each have 5 slots. When a dead drop is empty, it looks "normal" but if anything is being stored in any give dead drop, said dead drop will give off a glow.
