I created the GarageBand of outfits
It all started with a beat, not a wardrobe.
I was sitting in front of GarageBand, playing around with music production. I was dragging loops onto the timeline, layering sounds, listening, tweaking, and evaluating. It wasn’t perfect on the first try, it never is. I realized that creating music is a highly iterative process. You mix, you match, and you adjust until you finally hit that perfect harmony.
Then it hit me: Why don't we treat fashion the same way?
Usually, putting together a great outfit means throwing half your closet onto the bed and trying things on in front of a mirror until you're exhausted. I wanted to change that. I wanted to build the GarageBand of outfits.
That’s how Pastely was born.
I envisioned a digital playground where styling becomes a seamless, iterative art form. With Pastely, you can upload your photo and use AI to visually drag, drop, and test clothes from a massive catalog directly onto your personal canvas. You can build palettes, layer pieces, and evaluate your look before you ever put a single item on.
But art is also meant to be shared. That’s why pastely.art is built as a collaborative space. On our Discover page, you can browse other people's palettes, get inspired, and even "remix" their base outfits by adding your own spin to them through a simple shared link.
Fashion shouldn't be stressful. It should be like producing your favorite track : fun, creative, and completely yours.
