THE UNTHINKABLE EXPERIMENT - Back to cigarettes to quit vaping 300+ day update

Thought I should post the update as I got a reply on it yesterday.

Was a partial success in that I DID stop vaping

However I smoked cigarettes everyday since I made that post on an average of about 10 a day of park drive blue (ryo)

A 30g pouch was lasting me approx 8-9 days. And cost me about $95 dollars.

I think if you are fond of having beers etc then it can be very hard to stop. The alcohol seems to bring you back to smoking every time, my theory is you need to stop that or reduce if you want to improve your chances.

Going from vaping back to cigarettes has been interesting, making it harder to smoke does have the effect that the illusion of enjoyment being greater. (Tight pair of shoes, relief taking them off).
I will add I haven’t had any moment of rage like I have had with vaping, the old can’t find your vape in the car/bed and the extreme frustration that comes with that.

The social stigma is much worse. Which is good in my opinion as you don’t want to be a happy smoker ideally.

Have decided to escape today. Thanks for the guy who replied on the original post yesterday. Once I realised how much time had elapsed I wasn’t happy with myself and you gave me the push I needed. If you were looking for a sign to escape this can be it. Sunken cost fallacy will keep you puffing for years to come break the shackles.

Good luck everyone there is hope out there you’re not a leper or a loser, just a temporary drug addict.

TLDR - you can go back to cigarettes to stop vaping and not vape again but your swapping one for another pros and cons to both.
