30m dork looking for friends near Moon
Hey all!
Long story short, I have no friends.
Short story long;
I'm 30m and fiance is 29f. I was born in Pittsburgh, moved around the country a whole bunch and eventually moved back for family. We're near Moon now.
I'm in construction but find it verryyy rare to share interests with other construction workers.
I'm also somewhat of an introvert as in I don't exactly like going out doing things alone (and my fiance would rather stay home a lot of the time), but I do like to go out with friends! The catch; I don't have any friends, lol. I also kind of work a ton, so sadly, scheduling things can get a bit rough sometimes. I also have a gym membership to Planet Fitness I've yet to use, ugh. It's hard maintaining the motivation to go.
For the most part we share the same interests so these apply to both of us with some minor exceptions.
I like playing board games (we have a bit of a small collection - the haunting at house on the hill may be my favorite), card games and video games (lately it has been pokopia). I love comedy, I'm a foodie and love finding actually good food (usually end up cooking), building things, gardening and working on improving the house / work on projects. If I had it my way, Bernie Sanders would be president. I like going to watch movies on theaters. We have 3 dogs and like taking them out when we can.
I like a variety of shows... The office, family guy, Bob's Burgers, the great north, solar opposites, letterkenny, new girl, Abbott elementary, game of thrones, the blacklist and so much more.
GMM is one of my favorite YouTube channels.
Anime is fantastic. We just finished up AOT and couldn't get enough. FMA Brotherhood is next. Bleach > DBZ (fight me) and I'm super pumped for the final season of The Thousand Year Blood War. Naruto will always hold a special place in my heart. One Punch Man is great as well.
I'm not much of a drinker but will drink occasionally, like during a game night or out at a show.
The only thing I can't really stand is smoking cigarettes (thanks to my parents chain smoking all of the time when we were kids, yay for our generation)
All of that being said, how do ya'll Pittsburgh introverts make friends? I hope one day people other than family will come over for barbecues, lol.
