I took the 1/100 scale ekranoplan out for its first run this evening. It sits very low in the water. I think it is also underpowered. I did manage to get off a couple successful missile launches.

I 3D printed this model of a Russian Ekranoplan boat/ground effects craft. This model has eight 15mm ducted fan motors and is primarily going to function as a ship. However, if it can generate enough speed, I have hydrofoils printed to simulate operating via ground effects. It also fires rockets out of the rear launchers.
