Mental health : Looking for psychologist to help DID (OSDD/PDID) in Ireland. No help seems to exist 😕 😔 😞

Have you any idea if there is help for people with dissociative identity disorder or DID/OSDD/DDNOS/PDID?

No help seems to exist in Ireland, and its hard enough just to find basic trauma educated professionals for ptsd/cptsd.

(The head psychiatrist at Newcastle psychitric hospital during covid told me himself that "ptsd is only for those in traffic accidents and war" when the truth is that 60% of ptsd sufferers got it from abuse.)

I have been diagnosed cptsd since age 19 by multiple psychologists and psychiatrists and now diagnosed Dissociative and sadly after years of searching I haven't found any one..

What anyone with Dissociative needs in a psychologist/therapist — non-negotiables: 🌸

\*\*Experience with DID, not just "dissociation"

\*\*Familiar with internal system work — meaning they work with parts, not against them

\*\*Won't try to integrate or eliminate parts prematurely or forcibly, understanding of healthy multiplicity.

\*\*Won't dismiss spirituality. Understanding of Cptsd.

\*\*Understands the difference between DID and psychosis & DID vs eupd/bpd

\*\*CPTSD-informed/educated, not just general trauma.

Red flags to watch for: 🚩

\*\*"We'll get rid of those parts" — run

\*\*Immediate push toward integration as the goal

\*\*Dismissing your internal experiences as "just" anything

\*\*No familiarity with polyfragmented or complex systems

Any help at all is so very appreciated. 🌼 🌸 🌻
