I had my final interview with a neobank on Thursday 16 April. And sent a thank you email on Friday. HR got back to me on Tuesday next week saying that they are in the final stage of process and hopefully can provide me an update by the end of the week. HR also mentioned the team really enjoyed speaking with me. But I didn’t receive any update that week.
In the following week, I chased again for the outcome on Wednesday. HR replied on Thursday saying apologise for delays and the process was slower than they hoped. They are hoping to provide me an update in a couple of days. And I still didn’t hear back from them until now and it has been another three working days.
I know at this point that I may not their top 1 candidate and I should focus on other things etc. Should I still be hopeful? Should I also reach out to the team I interviewed with, instead of HR?
The waiting is killing me!!!! I’m tortured 🥹🥹
