Collab 3.0 Confirmed for October Launch and "Cost-Efficient" New House

Collab 3.0 Confirmed for October Launch and "Cost-Efficient" New House

Not too long of a wait for our newest season!

During ABS-CBN's Annual Stockholders' Meeting, the network's Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes confirmed that Collab 3.0 will be premiering this October.

Furthermore, the Kapamilya executive also confirmed the show's transition to a new house, one that she described as "cost-efficient" for them.

What specific day in October is the upcoming season's pilot? Will the new house being "cost-efficient" reflect on its to-be-revealed appearance?

More news regarding Collab 3.0 are expected from PBB's social media accounts in the coming weeks!

Stay dry, everyone! ☔

Brent as Potential New Co-Host?

What's up with our Collab Edition 1 Kapamilya Big Winner here? 🤔

In a very recent post by the show's social media accounts, it appears that they're teasing something with Brent in relation to the upcoming season. One possibility is him joining the show's lineup of hosts, also known as Pamilya Ni Kuya.

Additionally, if you look closely at the bottom-right portion of the picture, there's a date indicated, which is August 14, 2026. Could that be the date for the upcoming season's media conference? We shall find out in the coming days.

Princess' Debut Celebration: Highlights, Attendees, and More!

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple photos were used in this post

Celebrating our Royal Songstress' legality era! 🎉

Yesterday, 7th of August 2026, Cess had her once-in-a-lifetime evening filled with music, performances, and glamor, in a hotel in Pasay City (venue name not identified yet) with family, co-housemates, friends, and bosses.

Speaking of her fellow Collab Edition 2.0 alumni, her debut gathered 18/20 of the teens together, including the debutante herself.

Tala was nowhere to be found both in the event and in social media that time, while Fred was casually dropping Instagram story updates about his whereabouts while not being present in the debut.

Cess also stayed true to her word about wanting her debut to be her own mini-concert too, as she did a number of performances throughout the course of the celebration. I'll be posting clips and links of her performances down below in the comment section.

And lastly, Cess' debut, as you may have expected, also had a segment for her "18 Roses". One of the several pictures in this post shows each of the gentlemen who got to spend some time for a short dance with our debutante.

Ashley in Upcoming "Tadhana" Episode

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple photos were used in this post

After a long, long wait... Ash is back in her element! 🎥🎬

Around five days ago, Ash and her co-lead for this project, Kris Bernal, posted some behind-the-scenes clips of the filming for their episode of the Kapuso drama anthology series.

The aforementioned episode, titled Finding Hope, appears to be revolving around a mother-daughter storyline, which means this will have a more dramatic tone compared to Ash's previous post-PBB project two months ago, which is a rom-com episode of Regal Studio Presents with Marco.

That's not all, though. On the very first day of August, Ash became one of the hosts of the "Mossimo Kids Casting Call 2026" (which was held in SM North EDSA, Quezon City) and the cover star of the August 2026 Edition of fashion magazine brand Meri & Rime.

And lastly, just earlier, Ash had her most recent promotional video for Coca-Cola, which means that her partnership with the beverage brand continues.

It's just unfortunate that as of this writing, GMA/Sparkle hasn't made a post about any of the last three happenings that I mentioned.

Charlie's Reaction to James Graham's Coming Out

An unexpected question that Cha was able to gracefully respond to... 💯

During the cast reveal and project announcement day of MMFF 2026 entry "Haunted Carnival", a reporter from ABS-CBN News asked Charlie on her thoughts about her former co-star's revelation as a LGBTQIA+ member.

Cha thoughtfully admitted that even if it caught her off-guard, she was pleasantly surprised.

She, then, emphasized that it is something that Graham shouldn't be ashamed about.

Even though they are no longer in touch, Cha remains supportive and proud of Graham's decisions. They both still follow each other, and even like each other's social media posts.

For context, Graham came out with a feminine look through a TikTok video she posted, more or less, a week ago. The former Sparkle teen artist migrated to America back in February 2025 to pursue studies and live in said country.

Cha and Graham developed a good bond through working together in past Kapuso series such as "Royal Blood" and "Widows' War".

Joaquin Joins Cast of MMFF 2026 Entry "Haunted Carnival"

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple photos were used in this post

A great first post-PBB project to take on!

In the movie's official cast reveal and announcement yesterday, more of the film's cast members appeared in the formal launch event, and Joaquin is one of those newly-introduced cast members.

Apart from him, three other PBB alumni are set to be in said film as well, namely, Charlie, Fyang, and James Reid.

With both Joaquin and Miguel (has the role of Toto in iWant series "Will You Fake Marry Me?" ) already landing their most recent respective acting roles, there is still no certainty as to when the supposed upcoming projects for the remaining half of last season's Kapamilya Ultimate 8, Lella and Krystal, will be announced.

Sofia and Iñigo in Sofiño Official's First Fan Meet

You might have seen this coming, even from weeks ago...

After holding a small charity event, Sofiño Official had their fanmeet yesterday, 25th of July, in New Capitol Estates Clubhouse, Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Titled "Sofiño: Our Own World", this is the first actual fan gathering of the fandom and of course, the first dedicated fan meet that Sofia and Iñigo were invited to.

It's no secret that the two ex-housemates were at the receiving end of both rumors and criticisms over the past couple of weeks, but even with all those, as seen in the attached clip (courtesy of the event's photography partner), Sofia and Iñigo seem to still remain at ease with one another.

Prior to this event, their last sighting was during a screening of action-fantasy movie "The Odyssey".

Sofia in Rob Deniel's "Krazy" MV

A Sofia x Rob Deniel collab? Who would've imagined? 😲

Music Video 🔗: Rob Deniel - Krazy (Official Music Video)

A couple of hours ago from this post's release, the official YouTube channel of the known singer-songwriter posted the music video for one of his recent songs, featuring our very own sixth Sparkle teen evictee.

This is Sofia's first project following the closure of her long-time pair-up with ex-suitor Allen Ansay.

From this collab, we can say that VIVA is very comfortable in negotiating and doing business with GMA/Sparkle.

Back to Sofia, she's also expected to be in Team Sofiño's fanmeet scheduled for tomorrow, 25th of July, alongside her fellow ex-housemate, Iñigo.

Mika Joins Will's Upcoming Lead Afternoon Series "Delivery Boi", Replacing "You're My Favorite Song"

From one Kapuso Big Winner-Runner Up tandem to another? 😲

After some of the cast members have been announced two months ago, it is now confirmed that Mika's also set to be in the upcoming afternoon Will-led series.

Deviating from Will's past projects, "Delivery Boi" aims for a more "comedic" approach as a show.

Although there is no confirmation yet about whether or not Mika will serve as his "love interest" there, it remains to be a huge possibility.

A source claims that this series will be taking over the timeslot of the Caprice-Heath-led afternoon series "You're My Favorite Song", as the family-romance show is reported to have its final filming day this coming Saturday, 25th of July.

Clifford's Unexpected Post-PBB Career Trajectory

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as two pictures were used for this post

Back then, did you expect that GMA/Sparkle would give him major opportunities? 🤔

As you've seen from the title, we'll be talking about Clifford's current career flow and how things could pan out for him in the future.

On the left picture, Clifford is one of the male leads in the Kapuso afternoon series "You're My Favorite Song", playing the role of Calix Arcilla, while on the right picture, Clifford is indicated to be the sole male lead for an upcoming project titled "A Million Dreams".

That means Clifford already has back-to-back lead roles: an active one (YMFS), and an upcoming one (AMD), while some of his other Kapuso co-housemates either only have one lead/supporting role or are yet to receive an acting project.

From the clips that I've been seeing on my Twitter feed, Clifford is able to give justice to the role of Calix in YMFS, meaning, he has the acting chops needed.

However, the reception for the series over the recent weeks isn't doing him any favors. Some of the criticisms towards the show include rushed character progression (Calix goes from stone-hearted bully to sudden admirer/lover boy without a gradual transition), and excessive focus on the storyline of his tandem with Caprice's character, Angel Dimaculangan (as observed by fans and viewers in lines, airtime distribution, and even YouTube episode thumbnails; usually at the expense of Angel's tandem with Heath's character, Miguel Miraflor, the show's main team-up), etc.

Issues of favoritism, false advertising, and the show being just a mere "launchpad" for the CapFord tandem (both the writers and the management's fault) tend to steal attention away from the cast's talent and efforts, Clifford's included.

Moving away from YMFS' cons, another point to note here is that in both projects, Clifford is a male lead to Cap.

Although the CF fandom seems to be fairly wealthy, Clifford's solo fandom lacks social media presence and member count.

This brings me to my closing question for this post: When the time comes that Clifford will have to take on a solo project or another teamup project in the future after "A Million Dreams", will his acting skills alone be enough for him to thrive similar to how he's doing right now?

Which kind of evictee would you rather be?

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple photos were used for this post

A well-loved first evictee? A forgettable mid-season evictee? Or, a polarizing endgame evictee? 🤔

Throughout the seasons, we've witnessed plenty of housemates that were sent packing after either garnering the lowest total vote percentage among their co-nominees, or in some cases, failing in a certain deciding challenge (e.g. Big Jump Challenge).

However, looking back, it becomes much easier for us to classify every evictee based on both their journey inside the Big Brother house and public perception from the outside world.

For this post, Therese represents the first boot who's highly adored, Sofia represents the mid-season boot who did not leave much of a significant mark to both viewers and her season, and Dustin represents the endgame evictee who people have mixed thoughts on, mostly on the negative side.

Among those three kinds of evictees, which would you prefer to be, and why?

Princess on Having a Debut Escort: "Spotlight ko dapat 'yun!"

Our Royal Songstress knowing what she wants! 💅

Just a few weeks before her upcoming debut, yesterday, Princess showed up to her pre-debut mediacon hosted by Sparkle in Seda Hotel Vertis North, located in Quezon City.

In the attached clip of this post, a certain member of the press in that event had a quick, candid interview with Cess about what she's looking forward to in her "legality era", her debut's theme, and more. The question highlighted here is: "Totoo ba? Wala kaming i-eexpect na escort?".

Cess emphasized that she will not have an escort on her special day, as she (and her family) paid for her debut, and she prefers to have the spotlight on herself for the upcoming once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

And, although not in this clip, the interviewer even had to sneak in a final question, which is: "Mabagal pa rin ba si Fred?", which Cess, while laughing awkwardly, responds with: "Nakakainis! Ba't kailangan isingit palagi?"

Here's the link to the full interview: Full Interview Link

Happy 18th Birthday, Krystal!

On this day, Tala officially enters her legality era! 🥳

Thank you for being a constant beacon of inspiration from the previous season. Amidst my issues with Collab Edition 2.0, you were one of few people that made my viewing experience for the season, at least, bearable.

Seeing your graceful, eloquent, and self-assured nature from inside the house still intact here in the outside world makes me very glad.

Wishing that you get to enjoy life more, while being able to attract opportunities that align with your craft as an artist, now that the young Becca I used to watch from Doble Kara steps into womanhood.

Who knows? Maybe we'll finally get to see your acting comeback in a lead role that you've been deserving of for so long. 🤞

Continue to shine bright, and once again, happy 18th, Tala! 🌟🎉

Laurenti Dyogi Teases PBB's New House and New Season

Have you already imagined what the new house would look like? 🏠🔜

In a series of videos he posted on his official TikTok account, Star Magic head and Pinoy Big Brother executive Laurenti Dyogi shared some updates about the upcoming season.

He emphasized that there will be an airing collab between ABS-CBN and GMA yet again, but, audition dates are to be announced by the show's team, hence, it will be a civilian (non-celebrity) season. No definite dates were given yet for both auditions and the new season's launch.

Dyogi also mentioned that the upcoming season will be held in a new PBB house, although he did not give further details such as the location of said house.

In response to these updates, several "sources" have been pointing at a possible October launch for the upcoming season. However, please bear in mind that these claims remain unverified, for now.

Charlie in MMFF 2026 Film Entry "Haunted Carnival"

Ready to scream again, Cha? 😱

In a post by Regal Entertainment's official account, they announced their entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, which is a horror film with the title "Haunted Carnival", under the direction of Joey De Guzman.

The unveiling event for this year's MMFF entries introduced the leads of the movie: Julia Barretto, Fyang, James Reid, Maricel Soriano, and John Arcilla.

However, their social media post revealed more of the film's cast members, and one of them is Cha!

This makes "Haunted Carnival" not only the second film that Cha was casted in, but also the second time that she'll be doing horror. Her first film and first try at the horror genre was GMA Pictures' "Huwag Kang Titingin", which was released back in the 15th of April this year. 👻

I'm really glad to hear about this news because MMFF provides great exposure for its participating films, and the artists under them. Additionally, Cha will get to work with such a stacked ensemble cast, hence, a new source of learnings and experiences for her.

Currently, Cha is a cast member of the Kapuso primetime series, "The Master Cutter", playing the role of Karla Samonte.

Princess' AOS Performance of Her Debut Single, "Amba"

Our "Royal Songstress" with her own solo prod! 💃

In yesterday's episode of the Kapuso noontime variety show, Princess got a solo prod dedicated to her debut song, "Amba", which was released under GMV Studios (the merged joint of GMA's and VIVA's music arms).

It puzzles me how it took AOS this long before they finally gave Princess a solo prod.

Then, in terms of her career, it took quite a shift, considering that prior to her becoming a housemate in Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, she was being prepped for lead role. Now, she's relegated to more of a supporting role in the afternoon series "You're My Favorite Song".

About her recent activity, more than a week ago, Princess was with Lee, Charlie, and Prince Carlos for a mall show at San Carlos, Pangasinan, where she and Lee represented YMFS, while Cha and Prince represented the primetime series "The Master Cutter".

Sofia and Allen Ansay Confirmed As No Longer In Courtship

It's always unfortunate to see bonds like this be put to rest...

Through a comment under a TikTok video focusing on them two, Allen set the record straight about him and Sofia, where he explicitly stated that he already stopped courting Sofia since March, citing a shift in both of their respective priorities as the reason for this decision.

Why did Allen make this statement?

There's been multiple speculations and narratives about him and Sofia after netizens have noticed a lack of activity from them together for quite a while. Some have even went as far as saying that their few recent interactions didn't feel like two people in the middle of courtship.

Were there other observations that tend to be linked to this?

In light of this, some netizens often point out Sofia's frequent hangouts with her fellow ex-housemate, Iñigo, more specifically, their most recent appearance in a charity event hosted by their fandom. Because of how comfortable they are with those interactions, rumors and doubts swiftly sprouted.

What do I think about this situation?

Well, even though it is a bit difficult to discuss this without other names being brought up, I think their priorities not aligning with one another can be the sole reason for the end of their courtship, as this affects not only courtships, but actual relationships both inside and outside of showbiz.

I couldn't get a solid confirmation as to whether or not GMA/Sparkle was keen on axing their "loveteam", but even that shouldn't interfere with whatever they had in reality.

Lastly, I may not be big on either of them, but I don't appreciate how some question Sofia's loyalty, whether constructively or offensively, because even in her stay inside the Big Brother house, she established and maintained boundaries towards her male co-housemates out of respect for her now ex-suitor. It is completely possible to sympathize with Allen without throwing demeaning remarks about Sofia.

Due to this major shift in their dynamics, Sofia can now be paired to other artists. Same goes with Allen.

Were you expecting this to happen? Or were you, like me, caught off-guard by this confirmation?

With civility and consideration, drop your thoughts down below! 🗨️

The Most Endearing Friendships/Cliques of the Decade

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple pictures were used in this post

What's PBB without one of its most common social dynamics? 👬👭👫

Across this decade's season of the show, we've seen some bonds between various housemates evolve into friendship, whether only involving two housemates, or multiple of them.

I'll be presenting some of this decade's friendships/cliques that I personally found wholesome and memorable.

1.) HeaGuel (Heath & Miguel) - Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0

The friendship between this season's Kapuso 2nd Big Placer and Kapamilya 4th Big Placer earned the hearts of viewers due to the positive energy and moments of laughter that they brought before, during, and after they became a duo. Their happiness for each other was very transparent when they were both announced to be a part of the Ultimate 8.

2.) PAL (Princess, Ash, & Lella) - Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0

Definitely one of the season's most intact and well-rounded friendships. They consistently sticked around for each other, even in times of conflict (e.g. the Ash-Joaquin hand gesture feud). It was a joy to see all three of them reaching the Big Night together, with Cess as the Kapuso 4th Big Placer, Ash as the Kapuso 3rd Big Placer, and Lella as the season's Kapamilya Big Winner.

3.) Tres Marias/Cancer Babies (Tala, Carmelle, & Eli) - Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0

I personally see them as the most challenged friendship group of the season. They all naturally gravitate towards one another, but some of their co-housemates have once pointed out that they barely branch out because of their tight-knit bond. They had to face an eviction night together (the 2nd), and Tala became the only one in their trio to cross over to the Ultimate 8 as the Kapamilya 2nd Big Placer, after Eli faced two evictions (2nd and 6th eviction nights) and Carmelle became the final Kapamilya evictee (7th eviction night).

4.) Pamilya De Guzman (Klarisse, Mika, Esnyr, Shuvee, Will) - Celebrity Collab Edition 1

Without a doubt, they were the season's most popular clique. This "family" resonated so well with viewers and fans, to the point that they even make alternate storylines and even an "extended family tree" (includes Brent, Ralph, Cha, and Bianca) for them.

5.) MiLi (Michael & Emilio) - Celebrity Collab Edition 1

The friendship of these two can be somehow magnetic due to how compatible their energies and personalities are, and a lot of viewers and fans, from what I can tell, really felt that. This is why, up to this day, their duo's eviction remains to be one of the most unfortunate exits of the season.

6.) KaiRain (Kai & Rain) - Gen 11

People may view them as a "GL ship", but before and even during that label, they were a very inseparable friendship in their season. The bond between the season's 2nd and 4th Big Placers was undeniable and their friendship was just that solid.

7.) SamLy (Samantha & Alyssa) - Kumunity Season 10 Celebrity Edition

Who would've thought that a friendship between a beauty queen and a volleyball player could work out so well? The friendship between these two consistently felt like sisterhood, which makes sense considering that they call each other "sizzy".

Agree with the entries in my list? Got some other friendships/cliques worth mentioning?

The Most Satisfying Finalist Lineups of the Decade (Personal Ratings)

DISCLAIMER: Scrollable as multiple photos were used in this post

Always a major milestone for any housemate to reach the "endgame"!

Throughout the five seasons of this decade (Connect, Kumunity, Gen 11, Collab Edition 1, and Collab Edition 2.0), we've witnessed varying Big 4/Big 5 lineups, where some of them felt very satisfactory while a certain few either have replaceable members or just felt underwhelming as a whole.

For this post, I will be rating each of this decade's respective Big Placer lineups based on how satisfied I am with them as a collective.

1.) Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0's Ultimate 8

📝 Rating: 8.0/10

I'm fairly happy with the second Collab's finalist roster, in general.

Their Kapuso Big 4 is quite solid. Ash possessed that perfect blend of personality and competence, Cap maintained intactness all throughout, Heath always upheld strength in any aspect he can, and Princess was unafraid of showing moments of rawness. All of this solidifed their spots, making each of them non-negotiable.

Then, we have the Kapamilya Big 4, made up of Joaquin, Tala, Lella, and Miguel. While I'm okay with each of them and their respective trajectories, I actually wouldn't have a problem seeing either Carmelle or even Eli in the spot of one of them. (Guess who)

2.) Celebrity Collab Edition's Big 4 Duos

📝 Rating: 8.5/10

A very eclectic group of finalists, in my opinion.

Mika, Will, Cha, and AZ had some of the season's most memorable storylines, mostly revolving around growth and redemption. As the first-ever Kapuso Big 4, they sure did set the bar high.

Meanwhile, their Kapamilya Big 4 gained a distinction for being one of the show's rarest instances of not having at least one female representative. Brent and River got underwhelming highlights, Esnyr's trajectory got a bit stale at one point, and Ralph consistently brought in his A-game after his comeback.

3.) Gen 11's Big 4

📝 Rating: 7.0/10

This finalist quadro boasts one unique characteristic: being the show's very first all-female Big 4.

Kai had the most compelling traits and character, bundled with her great performance. Fyang's divisiveness became a constant talking point among the show's viewers. Although Rain and Kolette are both well-meaning and had very capable fanbases, their respective arcs can feel a bit lacking.

4.) Kumunity Season 10's Big 5

📝 Rating: 6.0/10

In all honesty, back then, I was rooting for the Teen Kumunity to bag 3/5 of the Big Placer spots.

This season's group of finalists are okay, but they were definitely deprived of having more time to live together and bond as a merged Kumunity.

5.) Connect's Big 4

📝 Rating: 2.0/10

For me, this season's finalist lineup is the weakest of the decade, by a long shot.

The mere fact that majority of this season's fandoms had to unite under the sole non-"Council" housemate (Liofer) and make him win to prevent the most winnable "Council" housemate (Andrea) from becoming the Big Winner screams volumes.

Whether you agree or disagree, let us know your thoughts and, perhaps, your own ratings down below! 💬
