Planning on doing a primary bathroom/closet remodel and would like to move our laundry upstairs - preferably off of the primary bedroom/bathroom as well as expand the closet. We're ok to lose the adjacent bedroom as we plan on converting "media room" into another bedroom to retain home value.

Don't necessarily need a 16x12' walk in closet, but unsure what we would do with the adjacent bedroom if we expanded the closet and reduced the size of the bedroom.

Just looking for other opinions and potential design options.

Images: 1) Original floor plan 2) Stylized original 3) Current layout idea

Edit 1: Thanks for the input so far. Some details I didn't mention. It's just my wife and I and a couple of dogs. No kids and no plans for kids. Mid 30's and we're only planning on being here for 5-10 years before building a dream home. Moving the laundry to the 2nd floor is a must have as it is currently off of the kitchen downstairs in place of an actual pantry.
