Help with post-game party setup
I have been getting through the game pretty well, beat the boss and am currently working on getting to max level in preparation for the DLC we are getting in summer.
My party has been updated all the way to variant monsters and elder dragons, but I am having trouble choosing the final member of the party.
I would love some comminity input there and am happy to any and all input on rounding out my party.
The party members:
Ratha - Mainly fire focused, updated with Dreadking and blast genes, aswell as high end fire genes like Self-Heal XL (I don't use him much, but miggt aswell have the best version of him if I'm stuck with him)
Regina, Dreadqueen Rathian - My high-survibability non-elemental status user. She has Venom Queen and the S+ Espinas fireball on her, Self Heal, Inflict Rate Up, Salt in Wound, Soul Kinship, Non-Elemental Attack and the non-elemental defensive skills
Pluto, Malzeno - Capitalizing on his drain skill, criticals and wyvernfell. He has full dragon bingo
Yuki, Velkhana - Similarly focusing on what Velkhana does best, on a full ice bingo. Focus: Burst damage, debuffs
Kalypso, Namielle - Mixed Electro/Water set, also focusing on heavy debuffs and burst damage
Now, considering I want to have a balanced team, I dhould probably look for a Power monstie with an element type I don't already have in the party, right?
Monsties I have considered (regardless of monstie type/element) and why I am not sure/decided:
Espinas - I heard he is very good, but I love my Dreadqueen
Boltreaver Astalos/Thunderlord Zinogre - I have Namielle
Stygian Zinogre/Ebony Odogaron/Deadeye Yian Garuga - I have Malzeno
Variant Tigrex/Diablos/Nargacuga, Seregios - I would probably run those with a non-elemental set, and I already have a non-elemental monstie
Soulseer Misuzune - I have heard that that one has great evasive/debuff potential, not sure though (Would probably be a good choice with a water focus, considering my Namielle is mostly electro focused)
Arkveld? Rei Dau? Deviljho?
