What would happen to a living creature if every atom in their body stopped moving at once?
I've been working on designing a character for D&D, and to summarize, they are the ghost of someone who was killed by a mage, who instantly made every atom in their body stop moving. I'm wanting to incorporate that cause of death into their design, but when trying to find out what would happen (other than just the instant death) I've found a lot of different answers. So, would anything happen visually, or would they have just been completely preserved?
