Horror is my favourite genre, I am looking for suggestions for just about everything.

Ever since I was fairly young, horror was always my favorite type of media. Horror games, horror movies, horror books etc. I'm not going to start a history lesson about the type of horror I grew up with, but I want to briefly explain what horror I enjoy. Beyond just atmosphere, I deeply value psychological horror. Something that keeps me up at night, and frightens my mind, not just my senses. While I appreciate primal fear, deep emotional psychological fear. Here are examples of my favorite horror media:

Film/video:

Have never really come across a scary horror movie, hereditary was nice thematically but it was way too silly and since I was not watching alone taking it seriously was rather impossible. The Mandela Catalogue is something I appreciate, specifically the line "Who have I been praying to all this time", it sends chills down my spine when I think about it. Terrifying and mind bending.

Games:

Have played a decent amount of horror games, and while something like alien isolation is the peak of survival horror, its not exactly what im looking for. There is a game titled from the darkness I once played, and it contained one of the most terrifying sequences. In the game, you are at your grandfathers old apartment and a super tall monster dude is chilling around. In the beginning we learn that one of the rooms houses this monster guy, and we can never really go into that room. more importantly, the monster can only follow us in the dark, he is helpless in the light. a point comes in that game where we finally enter that room, but it is empty except for a chair and noose, and the door closes behind you. This isn't the scary part tho, its how you escape. You have a flashlight in the room, so you are safe. But the game indirectly guides you into realizing that the only thing you can do, is turn off the lights. The delivery and impact of that entire scene was fantastic.

I also really love P.T, its messaging and grotesque symbolism.

-----

I do hope this amount of information is sufficient for any games/shows/movies/series you think I would like. In particular, I am looking for a good youtube channel that analyses horror while not being boring as hell. Painticus is a great example of horror creators I like, minaxa, and 4 plus as well. Please suggest

Tribute to the PS3, one of the most underrated consoles ever.

I didn't grow up with consoles because my mother didn't allow them in my house, so when ppl I knew had PS2s and later XBOX 360s I was pretty jealous, cause I had seen them and thought they were the best thing ever. Now just a couple years ago I decided to see what I had missed, and for 20K, I bought a Super-Slim PS3, along with some games. I played through some classic games like Alien Isolation, Siren Blood Curse, and Bioshock(not finished yet tho), and played a shit ton of Tekken with my friends. Console from 2005 yet it somehow felt not out of date at all. People have a general criticism of older tech being out of date and janky, for example I love the ps2, I bought it cheap couple years back and had a lot of fun, but it was janky, the controllers were wired and 480p was a bit hard to enjoy to the fullest, especially on splitscreen. The PS3, despite only being a few years newer felt like a whole new world. Wireless controllers, Wireless power button, much better controllers, 720p, and GTA V. Imagine going from GTA VC to GTA V one console apart. Insanity. We really need to show more appreciation to this gem and if anyone has any PS3 discs they are willing to sell I will be very grateful, I love this console a ton.
