I’m currently a caregiver for 2 years. I want to branch out of patient care one on one and see multiple clients throughout my day. Also don’t want to have to wipe butts anymore. Was talking to a friend who told me about becoming a nurse and finding a job working in an assisted living facility or non hospital jobs that require less work from me? I guess my question to you all is what do you think would suit me best? Lmrt I would do a 12 month program then be certified as a limited tech and a medical assistant. Plan would be to enroll at Pima online and finish the degree. Rather than waitlist at a community college or paying a trade 80k for the program. Or trade 40k program for lpn. Which sounds more reasonable for my situation?
