i didn't think my mattress was a problem until recently, but i've been waking up with shoulder pain almost every morning now. i'm a side sleeper and i guess it's finally catching up to me. my current mattress just feels too firm in the wrong places, like my shoulder doesn't sink in enough but my lower back still feels weirdly unsupported. i've been going down the rabbit hole trying to find the right mattress, but everything just starts to sound the same after a while. my wife is a side sleeper too and dealing with the same thing, so i figured i'd surprise her with one as an anniversary gift while i'm at it. so far i've looked into a few options, memory foam, hybrid mattresses, & adjustable ones. if you sleep on your side, what worked for you?
