As I am auditioning for Evelyn Nesbit for a local production of Ragtime, I have two songs that I plan on singing for the production and those songs include Cabaret and maybe this time in a 16 bar cut style. As I am new to this, does anyone have an idea on what specific part of the chorus I should start on and where I should mark that part of the chorus? I would appreciate the advice please and thank you!

One of my local theaters is planning on doing a production of Ragtime and I’m thinking of trying out for either Evelyn Nesbit or Emma Goldman. I saw for the audition notice that they want auditionees to prepare a 16-bar cut of a song that’s in the style of a show. When they say a song that’s in a 16 bar cut, do they mean a song that’s from a show by the same composer or a song that’s from a musical that has a similar theme and tone to Ragtime? I would like some clarification please and thank you.

I would also like to know what songs would be good to use if I were to audition for Emma Goldman or Evelyn Nesbit too please.

Does anyone know what song Jay Kay performs after Wilkommen from Cabaret? As someone who went to the titans 2 tour during the Chicago stop, I’ve been thinking about it lately and was wondering if anyone would know the name of the song? Please and thank you!

Just like the title says, have the dolls started to ship out already? I pre-ordered my Shana doll back in February and when I checked back on my doll, it now says that it’s supposed to ship in May. Have the Loyal subjects mentioned that those who pre-ordered the dolls are going to have them shipped out, because I haven’t gotten an email from them since then, and it’s not showing up on the shop app.
