after fishing now for probably 2/3 months I was catching on dries yesterday and striking at the right time, while also missing a few, but I'm getting it.

I've done only Stillwater but live in Durham, UK so unsure on what to do next, is anyone localist to the north east UK and could tell me what rivers are best to fish and who may own them? - Also potentially waders options, I'm 5'7 but size 11 feet so the wader sizing system seems to be all over the place for me!

just thought I'd share my first brown trout caught in the UK on a foam beetle yesterday, love the beautiful colouring and put up a good fight!

shoutout to u/wanttobedone for their amazing journal app and was really helpful on getting it sorted for the UK for me!

also the whole 5 fish caught on the day using a mix of beetles and Adams, dry season is here!
