Ikea Matter devices issues: If you’ve got problems, try this
I had massive problems with our four new Myggspray sensors. One would pair via my wife’s iPhone but not through any of my devices, worked fine for an hour, then went non-responsive. Second one paired after like 30 attempts from my iPhone, but disconnected itself from the network after 10 minutes, and wouldn’t pair again even after resets.
(4K ATV with wired network as main hub, plus a number of HomePods around the house).
Watched a video about WiFi channels and Matter over thread issues, in particular a chapter about interference - these Myggspray sensors are our first matter-over-thread devices, rest of our matter devices are matter-over-WiFi, never had issues with any of those.
So, watched that video, went into my home Unifi management, did an AI Optimization of accesspoint channels (four AP’s in the house), it made a few changes with the channels, and now all four sensors paired immediately and have stayed online for a week now. Even tried reinstalling the batteries to see what would happen, all came back online right away. In case anyone have a Unifi or similar system and have problems with IKEA Matter stuff.
