I haven’t played Arknights before, so most of what I know about Contingency Contract is based on research.

From what I understand, the part that stands out most is that it doesn’t just test how strong one team is- it tests how many options your roster gives you.

That’s what changed how I’m preparing.

Right now I’m holding resources instead of fully committing, because if CC really comes next patch, I’d rather wait and see what kind of restrictions actually matter before deciding where to invest.

My current thinking is:

  • flexibility is key
  • preparing DPS Options if physical gets countered
  • holding resources instead of upgrading units blindly
  • healers might become more important than they are right now

And if the vampire unit really comes with Mifu next patch and ends up being a strong DPS/striker, that could completely change my investment priorities.

Curious how everyone else is approaching it.

Are you holding your resources, or are you doing the level up prio units to 80 to save resources thing?

I’ve been trying out a symmetrical AIC factory for Wuling 1.2, and it actually works well enough to buy out all weekly materials.

It’s not fully plug-and-play though, you’ll need to:

-remove some facilities (capacity limit)

-turn off specific units

-and set up a few connections properly

Once it’s set up, it runs pretty clean.

I made a full breakdown + guide here (with blueprints for Asia/NA):

Curious what people think- would you use something like this, or stick with simpler setups?
