I found my old IPod Mini 1st Gen in a box and got inspired by this sub to bring it back to life.

- AliExpress “Red” CF-SD adapter with 16GB Kingston SD card. (It’s what I had laying around)
- Cameron Sino 750 mAh battery.

I did however break off the C78 capacitor in the process. But I actually had some extra 0603 10uF caps laying around and soldered one on.

Since this practice run was a success, my next move is to get a new case and glass, clean up the click wheel, and upgrade to a 128GB Sandisk Extreme (gold), and maybe a Taptic or audio cap mod.
