So I’m 28 years old. I got my Associate’s degree in Robotics and Automation in 2020. Got a job in 2021 as a robotic weld technician. I.E. troubleshooting robotics, welding issues, sensors, conveyors and the like. In October of last year, I got a new job as a Controls/Electrical Technician. Which was a pay decrease, but pushed me towards skills that i wanted to get. After 7 months here, I just feel lost? I don’t feel as if I’m picking things up quick enough or getting enough experience. Getting experience outside of work is difficult because of the programs we use aren’t easily accessible. I’ve been debating going back to school for Electrical Engineering to deepen my knowledge of the field but at the same time, I don’t want to dig my hole deeper so to speak. Is there anything I can get into with my current degree or any recommendations on what to go back for to further improve my knowledge and skills. I’d like to go for more office type roles. The position I’m in now is 70% physical and as someone with Cerebral Palsy. I know I’ll have more difficulty as I get older
