Mare owners — what do you make of this? 🤯

You lovely Redditors previously judged my little pony as 50/50 pregnant or not pregnant. Her udder still hasn’t exploded, and she should be minimum day 370. BUT what on earth could this be? Has anyone experienced anything similar? She’s driving me crazy with all the mixed signals 🫣

As mentioned in previous posts, I can’t get a completely clear answer from the vet either..

Help 😢

A couple of months ago I made a post about my pony, who we suspected was pregnant — both because of movements in her belly and changes in her udder. Since then, the udder has become larger and more pendulous, though not dramatically so. She should now be around day 374, which makes it seem unrealistic that she would still foal.

She has not wanted her girth tightened or the belly flap on her sweet itch rug since mid-March. She has also lost a lot of weight since March, partly due to laminitis in April.

On Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and yesterday there was mucus/discharge from her vulva.

We have surveillance on her in the stable at night, and I still feel like I can see her belly moving/jumping.

BUT the vet has just visited us, and he does not think there is milk in the udder. Has anyone experienced something similar? What on earth could be wrong with her? 🤔
