I know there are probably a lot of sites out there that still offer the Sora 2 API but I thought I may as well throw my hat into the ring. I'm a solo dev who loves AI image/video, I've been working on building Fauxto Labs over the last 8 or so months. It's my passion to build things around generative AI, and of course I have Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro as an available model on the Video Generator page. Using it through the API was always my preferred method even before the shutdown just because it has no watermark and that was very important to me. I used Sora 2 Pro to personally build my TikTok account to over 10k followers which was a great personal achievement for me, so it was really a gut punch to hear they were shutting Sora down. I'm just thankful they are keeping the API open as long as they are.

The model of course costs money to use, and I won't claim to be the absolute cheapest out there but my prices are quite close to the API cost on my backend. You can generate up to 20 second clips at 1080 p, other resolutions are also available. My main selling point is that I do not require a subscription to use any of the models or tools across the site. I also have a pretty decent Sora 2 specific UGC workflow/tool here: Sora 2 UGC

I'm not gonna beg everyone to use my platform because I know there are other options, but if you wanted to check it out I actually have a lot of really cool features and custom workflows even outside of Sora 2. This has been my passion project for many months now and I try my best to make it as useful and interesting as possible.

Seedance 2.0 makes it so easy to just drop in references to whatever and see it come to life in a cinematic style, I really need to sit down and work on a good multi scene video. Shoutout to any Armored Core fans that might be here.

I took some time to run some comparison generations between the new GPT-2 Image and Nano Banana 2 on my website Fauxto Labs. I used the "Multi Model" tool which allows you to select up to 4 different image or edit models to run in parallel. Which was perfect for this type of direct comparison.

Here are the results and the prompts for each comparison:

  1. "A full comic-book page with 5 dynamic panels telling a short sci-fi chase sequence through a floating city. include caption boxes and speech bubbles with readable text. opening caption says “sector 9, twelve minutes until blackout”. a character shouts “go go go”. another panel includes a holographic sign reading “transit gate”. bold graphic composition, dramatic motion, cel-shaded comic style, consistent character design across panels, crisp lettering, polished professional comic layout"

"An ultra-detailed isometric cutaway illustration of a futuristic research facility with multiple floors and rooms visible at once. include robotics lab, server room, greenhouse, dorm room, cafeteria, security office, and prototype workshop. every room should have unique props and clear signage. add readable room labels like “botany lab”, “thermal systems”, “cafeteria”, “access control”, and “testing bay 03”. visual style should feel like a premium editorial explainer mixed with a simulation game poster. extremely dense, clean perspective, coherent architecture, small but readable labels throughout"

Here's an example of a finished TikTok Slideshow fully auto-generated with Fauxto Labs

These are super easy to make and when paired with a catchy song can easily do numbers on TikTok. Slideshows can be used to get views with very little serious effort, people just like to scroll them and if you can generate catchy hooks + visuals in one pass, the rest is easy. The example here shows off the "Premium" lifestyle slideshow, featuring gaudy and overtly wealthy lifestyle, great for giving out advice from a place of "authority". You can also go for more realistic creator/UGC style, fully graphic/illustration creative style, and a serene/natural style.

Been working on a new tool on Fauxto Labs and finally shipped one I’ve wanted for a while: a TikTok Slideshow Creator.

Instead of manually building carousel posts slide by slide in Canva, trying to think of a hook, figuring out what each slide should say, then hunting for visuals that all kind of match, I wanted something where you can just describe what you’re trying to achieve and get a full slideshow back that actually feels native to TikTok.

So the workflow is basically: type your goal, pick a direction, generate the deck. It builds the slides, text overlays, caption, hashtags, and gives you something that’s much closer to ready-to-post instead of just dumping you at the blank canvas stage. I also built in different visual modes depending on what kind of content you’re trying to make, because not every post should look like the same generic AI ad creative.

One thing I cared about a lot was making it useful for people who are not designers, while also not forcing power users into some dumbed-down toy. So there’s a really simple starting flow, but you can still get more specific with slide count, audience, product context, reference images, and all that if you want tighter output.

It’s especially good for the kind of posts that are trying to get people interested in a product, tell a quick story, educate without making it feel like homework, or make something that looks strong enough to stop a scroll without spending forever on it.

There’s also editing after generation, so if a slide is close but not quite there, you’re not stuck rerolling the entire thing. You can tweak copy, swap images, regenerate parts of individual slides, and keep pushing it toward what you actually want.

Tool is here if anyone wants to mess with it:
