How to stop looking down on people for not using bandcamp?

I recently met a cute girl at a coffee shop. I noticed she was playing cockatoo twins (one of my favorite bands) so I engaged her in conversation.

Things were going well, and so I asked her for her bandcamp. She asked me what bandcamp was. In that moment I felt a tinge of superiority and pity, but I tried to continued on, trying to recover the situation. "Well nevermind, what is your RYM?" But I was met with the same response. I simply had to leave her, as the disgust I felt for this other human was impalpably intense.

How do I fix this? Is there a way to stop feeling this feeling, I don't want to re-experience this yet again. It is making it hard to make friends and build relationships.
