Visiting Osaka for a few days to recharge — up for meeting people
Hey everyone!
I'll be in Osaka from May 25th to 28th. Been to the Kansai region a few times before and hit most of the major tourist spots, but I've almost always traveled solo — so this time I figured, why not actually talk to some people while I'm there?
Honestly, I've been a bit worn out lately and this trip is more of a reset than anything else. Just needed to get out of my usual routine for a bit.
A few things about me and what I'm thinking for the trip:
I'm a 34-year-old guy from Seoul. One of the days I'm planning to do a day trip to Kyoto — probably heading out in the morning and coming back at night. Got a few hidden gem spots recommended to me that most people don't really know about, so looking forward to that.
When it comes to just wandering around, I'm pretty into shopping — not big hauls, more like browsing for small unique items, and I have a particular soft spot for men's leather shoes. Always end up spending way too long in shoe stores. I also love finding cafés that feel local and trying food you genuinely can only eat in Japan. That part never gets old.
Weekdays aren't ideal, I know — but if your schedule happens to line up, I'd love to grab a coffee or just walk around Osaka together at some point. No fixed plan needed, I'm pretty go-with-the-flow.
Feel free to DM if this sounds like your kind of hang!
