Sunlight faded the edge, can I dye it without ruining the logo?

The end of my hand towel is very faded from sunlight and I’d like to try dying it black again. I’m worried the embroidered logo will be ruined as the label doesn’t say what material the thread is, only that it’s 100% cotton. Would this apply to the whole piece including the thread or just the towel.
I’m a silly thing and sentimentality quite attached to this towel. It’s from a shop my nan and I always visited that no longer exists in Chichester and she bought it for me as house warming gift. I rarely use it (one of those ‘show’ towels you have out on display when guests come) so it’s not faded from repeated washing, but it’s kept out on the towel rail opposite a window. I know this sounds silly, it’s only a towel and I should just use it but we all have our quirks. Please can someone advise and help a girl with her faded, pretentious and unpractical towel.

To colour or not to colour, that is the question.

I have this wallpaper that I’ve been waiting to hang in my living room for over a year. The time has come to make a decision on whether I go all in with colour or not. My budget and time won’t allow for a redo, so I’d like some feedback making a decision.
The room is 4x4m2 (UK one bed house are not the most spacious). I have to fit my 3 seater sofa, an mcm sideboard, fish tank+cabinet and record player cabinet around around the perimeter. The flooring is wood, the sofa is burnt orange and all the other soft furnishings and decor are in the classic orange, yellow, brown colour palette. My area rug is a cowhide (not your typical matching style but I love it). The window is large and takes up most of the space on that wall. Thoughts and ideas are ALL welcome. Here’s the wallpaper.
Edit- forgot to mention the wood burner is being installed.
