Is it fungal acne?

Last photo was me around 2 weeks ago. So this literally exploded and I have quite a few theories that it was a massive compounding effect.

Two weeks ago I took selexid for my uti (I get them so constantly). Then I got a yeast infection and took OTC stuff for that. So technically finished my selexid like a week ago. I’m not allergic to it I would’ve had a reaction sooner according to my doctor. But while I don’t think it’s an allergy, I think it may be fungal. He proceeded to tell me he thought it was hormonal.

I know my body and if it were hormonal, I would’ve broken out during ovulation when that normally happens. But it’s only a few spots. Nothing like this massive explosion out of absolutely no where. I’ve never ever had this bad of skin. If that were the case I would be having this every damn month (not on birth control).

On top of that, Sweden had a heat wave and I was feeding what I assume is the yeast overgrowth on my face from all the sweat, sun, and humidity. Mind you, it only got worse every single day - new little white uniformed bumps all the same exact size. Across my forehead, along my hairline, jaw, and well face.

The inflammation underneath it all is what I assumed is from my very poor hygiene the last two weeks where I didn’t have or use my salicylic acid from neutrogena - clear and defend face wash. You know what I ended up using because I was too annoyed to go to the store and pick up my reg face wash…. I used baking soda and baby shampoo. Which is like nearly 3 years old.

So yes. It has been a combination of what I think is the poor hygiene which creates the oil the yeast feeds off of, the heat and humidity, antibiotics, and so on.

Thoughts? really could help a girl out.

I did get nizoral. My doctor said to wait 10 days to check my face and do a test but I’m way too impatient for that.

I literally am working from home because of this.

*** want to add my doctor literally said “it can’t be from the antibiotics you took them over a month ago” and I had to correct him because no, in fact, it was a week ago I had finished it…. They just don’t care. He also completely dismissed the whole oh you took antibiotics so you’re immune is down theory, saying that that was wrong. And that antibiotics couldn’t have triggered this. 🤷‍♀️ I’m just so annoyed.
