Hello my CDrama peeps, what’s going on? 😭
I’m on Legend of the Female General Ep. 19 and I’m still not fully feeling it. I think Fated Hearts spoiled me because that show had me LOCKED IN from start to finish.

I hate feeling like I’m wasting my time on a drama. I need something that keeps me on my toes, eyes wide open, emotionally invested, and unable to skip scenes 😂

Does this one get better later on, or should I move on? And please drop recommendations for dramas that had you completely addicted.

Unpopular opinion but I’m struggling with Zhang Ruo as the female lead in Zhan Zhao Adventures. The martial arts scenes just don’t blend naturally with her for me, and I still can’t separate her from her personality in The First Frost lol. Meanwhile, the male lead is absolutely carrying the show for me right now.

Also, can we talk about these “woman disguised as a man” storylines in C-dramas? 😭 Like ma’am… that is very obviously a woman. Same reason I’m struggling with Legend of the Female General. I know it’s part of the trope, but sometimes I just can’t suspend disbelief enough to enjoy it properly.

Curious if anyone else feels the same or if it’s just me?
