I built a roofing estimator specifically for Canadian contractors - here's what makes it different from generic construction software

I've watched contractors pull out a laptop on a job site, open Excel, and spend 20 minutes wrestling with a spreadsheet that wasn't built for roofing in the first place. That's the problem I set out to fix.

RoofMaster Pro does a few specific things that general estimating software doesn't:

**Region-specific material logic for Canada.** Generic tools don't account for Canadian shingle grades, regional pricing differences, or the material requirements that actually matter here. RoofMaster Pro has that baked in - not bolted on.

**Built for a phone on a roof.** High-contrast dark theme, large touch targets, designed for bright sunlight and gloves-on use. Not a desktop tool someone shrank down.

**Quote generation on the spot.** You enter your measurements - width, pitch, complexity - and it outputs a formatted quote document before you've left the driveway. No back-and-forth, no "I'll send it tonight."

Right now it supports simple and advanced estimate modes, tracks your full project history, and handles the geometry that makes roofing estimates annoying (hip returns, valleys, dormers).

What's the biggest thing that slows you down when you're putting together a quote on site?
