I might have to sell my AE86
I bought it with the intention to restore it completely and slowly work on it as much as I could, but with college and not really having the best place to work on it, it has sat untouched for a few months. It is a 84 sr5 hatchback, and the interior is in kind of rough shape, but I've managed to gather a decent amount of the parts for it. I will be honest when I say that it needs a lot of work, and has a small dent or two on one of the doors.
I might have to sell it because it is 1. being neglected and just sitting, and 2. the place where I was keeping it, has decided that it is no longer alright for me to keep it there anymore, and they say that if I do not move it within the next few days, they will start charging me everyday that it is still there.
It did run fine, but since its been sitting untouched, it now is having an issue getting fuel to the engine for some reason and so it doesn't run. It will crank, and start briefly with starting fluid, but I think either some rust that settled at the bottom of the fuel tank might have clogged the fuel pump, or the fuel filters that the previous owner put on there are just clogged.
It has a shit ton of miles and I know I overpaid for it. It's located between Austin and San Antonio, TX, so if anybody has any interest, please comment or reach out.
EDIT: I added some photos gathered from me and my friends of the car, next time I am at it I will take more. The interior is rough like I mentioned, so I don't have really any photos of it. Important to note there's not any bad rust that I am aware of. I also have a few parts that are extra with it. I have 2 decent condition door cards that are in the trunk of the car, I have new replacement taillights with gaskets (pictured are the old ones that are still on the car), and I also replaced the shift knob with an oem one. I have a 80s toyota radio that will fit where there isn't one, I have a car cover designed for it that can come with the car, too. The AC runs in the car, that got fixed, it has power steering as well. The rims are from an old celica, and sadly I do not have any other wheels. All the lights work, and the pop ups flip up and down.
