As a landscape designer, I find myself laying out wayfinding and signage for commercial and public projects very often. Placing wayfinding signs, choosing or designing the sign, thinking about circulation and lighting, etc.

Wayfinding and the type of visual communication needed for effective wayfinding and visual cues is not something I learned much about in my MLA program.

Are there any good extracurricular courses you’ve taken? Conferences and seminars? Online resources? Would love to hear how you all approach wayfinding in your projects!
