I have recently received an offer from Statics Canada for the census currently going on. I am currently doing a full time job and getting paid well. But i am enthusiastic about entering public sector, so I applied and got an offer from them. Now i am wondering if there any chances of extension of the contract as it will end in Oct 2026. Since i ll be resigning a full time job for entering a casual position in public sector. Are there any further chances of growth and opportunities within. If anyone can please explain or is it just a casual 90 day conditional employment.
