Do you feel that the game has become less social with time?

I remember back in the day Tibia was very different and I'm not just talking about game itself but the people.

People used to be social. This was back when there were no wiki so people asked eachother for information, directions and had to trade in chat which sparked conversations. Making friends was easy.

Nowadays, you should consider yourself lucky if you find someone who speaks English. And even then, they most likely won't even respond to you because they're busy min-maxing. The game honestly feels like a single player game with players behaving like NPCs. There's barely any conversations anymore. No roleplay. Just the pursuit of hitting bigger numbers.

Do you agree?

Why is this community so unfriendly to new players?

We get it, you're a 35 year old who played this game for 20 years. Yes yes, you have a level 1000. Very impressive.

When a new player below level 100 asks a question, you laugh at them and remind them how bad they are. You can't even comprehend that someone in 2026 is still below level 100, your mind cannot process how it's even possible. You tell them to just buy a character instead of leveling up themselves, because why play the game when you can pay real money to not play the game, right guys? Anything below level 500 and under 130 skill is utter garbage and a "waste of time".

And then you elitists wonder why this game doesn't attract new players. It's not because of Cipsoft, it's because of this toxic community to new players.

Treating this game as a permadeath

I've decided to play as an MS (currently level 68) and treat the game as a permadeath. No blessings, no recovery plans. If I die, I will quit and delete my account.

Now you might be wondering, why play sorcerer when I would be way less likely to die as a Knight. Well, because Sorcererers are simply the most fun vocation in the game in my opinion.

Anyone else done similar?

Why do Polish people assume everyone speaks polish?

This is actually frustrating. When you talk to a stranger, you should write in English since you don't know where the person is from.

But in any EU server, you find players messaging you like they slapped their face on the keyboard and end it with a question mark.

Does it matter if I train multiple melee skills?

Hey guys, I'm new to this game. I have a level 15 knight. I was training my axe skill to 17 then my friend told me that sword is better so I started training sword and now my sword skill is 59.

Does it matter if I trained my axe skill to 17? Does it have any negative impact? I have to admit that I have a fear of bugs in video games. Since I was training axe at first, what if the game uses my axe skill instead of my sword skill even while using sword..

I'm probably overthinking but any of you confirm?

Why are sorcerers the least played vocation?

If we exclude Monks since they're still relatively new. How come Sorcererers are the least played in most servers? Could it be that they're underpowered compared to the rest?

Paladin needs nerfs

Paladins are tankier than Knight and deals more sustained damage than Sorcerer. Why do they get the best of both world and keep getting away with it?

We know Paladins are Cipsoft's favorite child but this should change
