Hi guys, i‘m an older Cardiff Uni student looking to find a place to live with my partner that is accessible to Cardiff (pref Queen Street or Cathays station, but Central is fine as well) to commute in from that isn’t Cardiff itself. I’ve narrowed down a good few locales by following the train lines and such but looking for personal recs to help sway the search a bit?

Ideally, the journey would be no more than 40 mins and trains would be frequent. I used to commute about 50 mins via train per journey but they were so infrequent that i really struggled making it to class :/

We obvs can’t be too picky but any recs for safer towns would be really helpful, ones that I would feel safe enough to walk by myself, thank u :)
