My grandfather was a captain in Patton’s 4th Armored. He never talked about it much but came home with lots of medals and other things. Was looking through some today and found the pin in the picture above.
I have no idea what it is or what is on the blue ribbon.

So, apropos of nothing I can put my finger on, my wife is all of the sudden using some of her spare time to go through collected loose change to look for special finds.
I know less than nothing about finding special coins, so I’m wondering how best I can support her new hobby. She has nothing but an app and a willingness to spend a solid couple hours sifting through them. She also has a pretty thorough accounting of anything worth more than face value.
If nothing else, how do I even go about getting her a big batch of coins? Pre rolled seems almost less fun as she gets into the sorting and scanning.
