Other pains caused by bad hip?

Curious if it’s common to have pains in other joints or areas when the hip is bad? I have OA, will have left hip replaced soon. Curious if my opposite foot injuries are related to the hip, as well as knee pain on same leg. Worried all my joints are going at once! Hoping these pains can be remedied with HR

After two years of on and off pain, finally found out I need a THR. The surgeon said it’s up to me when to do it. I’m in PT now, which helps a ton. I exercise daily and but hip is starting to impact squats and lunges, range of motion. Walking and running is still fine. Pilates usually ok. Tennis usually flairs up the pain. I am not limping but I feel th hip catch at weird times and at night. I’m just unsure when to do it. Exercise is how I manage anxiety and life and I’m terrified of being down for long. 51F. How did you know it was time, if you weren’t totally in pain 24/7? Thanks!
