$3000 for a purebred kitten?

Always wanted a Himalayan cat. There’s a very well known and reputable breeder near me that provides a health contract, takes great care of the new kittens before they’re given to their new homes, etc.

I called up to inquire and it’s $3000 for a kitten and the litter will be born soon. Is that a realistic price? I’m not familiar with this at all so I’m very ignorant when it comes to this.

Booked my first feature film credit.

So I was pinned and now booked for a speaking role in an SAG independent feature film. At 23 I’ve only booked a few commercials and a handful of short films since starting this at 15. So I’m incredibly shocked and thankful to finally be in my first feature. Now the role is small, yes. But it’s a speaking role in the biggest project I’ve ever worked on so I’m extremely excited.

Just wanted to share this big win for me. Doing so many auditions to finally book this particular role is just incredible.

Customer invited me to dinner. How do you guys deal with this situation?

Had to do a long electrical job for a customer. He wanted motion lights on all 4 sides of the house. No power anywhere outside so had to tap and snake from outlets in other rooms.

The weird thing was the guy came into a room I was working in and literally invited me to dinner and tried to stroke my arm and wanted to know when I was free. I’m 23 and he’s in his 50’s. I didn’t really answer as it was kind of uncomfortable and now he wants more work done next time but I just got bad vibes on going back. He’s also gay so there’s a chance that he meant in romantic terms which obviously I’m not interested in.

How do you guys handle this?
