I actually like Yuri. Like straight Yuri. I know some of you will be confused so let me explain why do I actually like Yuri stuff. It will be quite an experience sure since this is my confession​ to liking it.

Okay? Here is why I like Yuri so much:

Back in the 2000s, Ben 10 was still airing as usual and I like Ben 10 so much that I actually wanted to play hero like him by taking my dad's watch and slam it with my hand (Heatblast was one of my favorites, along with Diamond Head, Cannonbolt, and Upgrade). Although it was good, it switched to Ben 10 Alien Force which gave Ben the Yuri voice. It was weird but I got used and got hooked to him and watch the series even with Ultimate Alien Force.

Years later, and I watched Anime now. One of the OGs was Naruto. And guess what? It's where Yuri actually grew to the community and gave voice to Sasuke, which is one my favourites despite what he does and what he is. And his performance sometimes got me hooked. That actually pulled me into Yuri and went on to realize he voiced Simon from the GOAT mecha anime Gurren Lagann​. Dub is kind of a mixed bag to me but if the performance and voice was good? That's fine to me.

Cut around 2020s and I got hooked more in his recent role, Spider Man, and that includes 1 and 2, ESPECIALLY 2 since it was the Symbiote Arc, which is one of my favorites. It's somehow amazing how he can switch from this happy and determined hero, who sometimes cam get emotional, to the raging storm he is as Bully Lowenthal, which reminds me of his Sasuke days.

And that my friends, is why I like Yuri. Yuri Lowenthal.

So truthfully, I was kind of bored as I scroll and play through most of the HSR, and I asked this question before it got deleted by the mods here. Feeling curious, I decided to visit THAT sub at least to realize how bad it is that some of you avoid it.

Sad to say folks, I shouldn't have been curious in the first place 😟😟

So much indescribable things I saw there, and yes, many yaoi and Yuri ships from left to right, and it feels like all of those ships can be found there.

It's not that I can blame or even hate it, it's a sub dedicated to people like them after all, but all of the things there are so strange I can barely speak as I go through it, many mischaracterizations and headcanons that it makes me just go silent. And as of now, I'm currently freeing up those visions here and visiting any subs that actually make sense, no matter how they call it 'hetslop'.
