Hello! Just looking for some insight possibly from newly hired Department of Health employees or someone tenured. What are the odds of being hired as an external applicant? Have you ever seen an external candidate hired in any of the positions? I’ve applied to any/every position that I am qualified for with no luck.

I understand internal applicants are prioritized, but I’ve been applying to the same job for over 6 years and I’m overly qualified with experience. Should I just look elsewhere? Any helpful information is appreciated. Thank you!!
