Newer commercial sub submitting bid to multiple GC's?
I am a commercial electric sub, three years in business, and I have gotten on the bid list with one of the bigger GC's in my area. I have noticed over the course of a year of bidding on these projects that there will be anywhere from 5 to 12 large GC's bidding on these projects (EG city/county buildings, college buildings, large warehouses, etc). What I have also noticed is that when I get the full package of documents, a lot of these jobs have a pre-bid meeting with a sign in sheet.
So my question is: would it reflect poorly on me to email my proposal to the other GC's from the list, which I don't have any prior relationship with?
