T'au Blood

Apologies if this has been asked before but I've not read any of the fiction, and I don't recall seeing it mentioned in the codex: what colour is T'au blood? I wanted to have a wounded T'au on a piece of scenery, and wondered what shade to use for the "gore".

Firesight Team

I really like the concept of the Firesight Team, but I've heard mixed things about the quality of the model. Are they really that bad, as kits? I had a few Forgeworld resin kits off different sorts about ten years ago or so, and they seemed fine.

Also, do we think they're likely to get a new model when our new codes drops or, as some have suggested, do we think they'll be dropped?

Model Identification

I found these models from a previous attempt to create my Slaaneshi T'au army, many, many years ago and wanted some help identifying the models, and enquiring whether they were still legal. The flying guy I thought might be a commander, but the model is titchy-tiny!

Slaaneshi-themed Tau

I thought I'd post the first, almost-finished model from my Emperor's Children themed army. My back story for them was that they encountered some daemonettes and became besotted, and decided that "For The Greater Good" should become "For The Greater Pleasure"! I know I'm not a very good painter, and the model does need some touching up here and there, but I'm posting it anyway! 🙂

Undercoating Miniatures

I first started playing 40K back in fourth edition, playing Iron Hands space marines then, later, a chapter of my own invention named the Polar Wolves (which started when I kit-bashed a Space Marine bike into a snowmobile, then expanded from there). After a long break I'm now collecting again, and have picked T'au as my army of choice, as I've always loved the models.

My question is this: since I started 40K I've always undercoated the sprues with spray paint, but I'm wondering why this is considered so important? When I was younger I made many Airfix kits (and kits from other brands) and undercoating just wasn't a thing that was done. Is there some quality that GW plastic has that means undercoating is required, or is it a stylistic thing? Genuinely curious.
