Am I the only person who would spend significantly more if things were much cheaper?
I’m sure there is data to support this as gospel or debunk this as a stupid idea, but how much SV bucks everything costs should be a fraction of what it is and I think people would spend so much more.
In previous Skate games I loved changing outfits and decks and everything every so often just to feel like it’s a different day, but I refuse to spend anything when it’s like $5 actual real life dollars for one deck graphic. If I want a new outfit + deck it’s like pants 300-500, shirt 300-500, shoes 300-500, deck 300-500, trucks 150, wheels 150, and on the low end that’s $15 USD. Four outfits and you’re at the cost of a game - Hell no.
I feel that no items should cost more than 100, MAYBE 200 $SV with plenty of options at 25-50. The cost right now is high enough for it to feel insulting so I choose to spend nothing instead of “let me kick them $5-10 for their troubles” because that’s only enough for a single pair of digital shoes.
Yes, I unlock every free item and pick up every free item they limit release, but I have $SV just taking up space that I’ve earned because the costs are too high imo
