Almost finished The Stand tonight and got to this happy crappy. M-O-O-N that spells pissed. Can you believe that happy crappy? I’ll tell you, you don’t tell me.
Failed preform turned drill. It happens! Bison pressure on rootbeer chert.
3 13/16” x 1 1/4” the bit is 3/4” wide.
Rootbeer chert, Hammerstone and antler percussion, bison punch followed by bison pressure. 4 1/4” x 1 5/16”
Hammerstone and antler percussion, bison punch, bison pressure. Raw rootbeer chert. Definitely an a side and b side, oh well one day I’ll get them figured out
This piece was found in Marion County Texas in the 70s. 3 7/8” x 1 1/2”. Phenomenal flaking and insanely thin, you’d be hard pressed to find a better Scottsbluff than this. Does have a little tip damage that would put it at 4”, but that doesn’t bother me any for a piece to be this old and in good of shape as it is. Definitely my new favorite in the collection.
