Looking for some advice

Hey there, i am looking for people to help me make a choice.

I'm using a xt-3 with an xf 35 f2 as daily lens. I also use a Samyang 75 1.8 (awesome lens). I mostly use this set for hikes, street photography, amusement parks, kids. All sorts of stuff. I mostly do B&W and love high contrast clean images with negative space.

I'm in doubt between 2 possible lenses to be my next purchase. The 16mm 1.4 or the 16mm 2.8.

Lot's of people might think no brainer get the 1.4 if you have the budget.

But i left Canon after years and years because my 5d mk iii was to bulky with my sigma 105 on it and i left it on a shelf at home more and more.

I have no idea how bulky the 1.4 makes my xt-3 (using a Fuji handgrip an pgytech wrist strap on it btw). I like what i hear about the 1.4 but am a bit afraid it's to much and it is just gonna go and gather dust on a shelf. While the 2.8 on paper is "the lesser" lens but it might be more Fuji style? Meaning small and light like my 35mm.

I really miss something wide and am a prime user so a zoom lens is not really something i'm in to.

So what do the people with xp with these lenses recommend?
