I’m a trans man in my schools marching band and I just got accepted as one of the drum majors for next years season! (yay me!) I was wondering if I can bind during camp and shows and stuff or if I should just wear binding tape? The thing is that trans tape has been leaving scars the last few times I’ve used it and I just prefer to bind anyway. It’s not a problem to do either way but no one in my real life has been very helpful💔I’ve been in drumline in the past so I know marching band can get pretty tiring at times but going from bass drum to drum major is a bit of a jump, at least in my band. Also if anyone has any further advice for being drum major it would be greatly appreciated!
