Does my experience stand out enough for grad school admissions?
Hey! I'm currently a junior at a small FL school, double-majoring in sociology and political science. Could ya'll give me insight on whether my current stats stand out enough for the grad schools I'm aspiring to apply to?
My very ambitious list includes Yale, MIT, George Washington, Georgetown, and Tufts. I've maintained a 3.8 GPA and am graduating. A year early. I've also been interning at my local democratic party for about 6 months now. I live in a veryyyyy small town, and my uni is equally as unimpressive, but I make do. They do offer a legislative internship in Tallahassee, so I'll definitely look there. What else should I look towards to make my application stand out a bit more? Feel free to tell me if I'm completely delusional and should lower my expectations if need be lol. Thanks, friends!
