To our dear friends, relatives, and everyone who knew and loved Vanessa,

It is with the heaviest heart that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my beloved first cousin and little sister, Vanessa Blanca Quillo Rangadhol, who tragically passed away today, August 19, 2026, following an accident at the condominium where she was staying in Manila.

Vanessa was the only daughter (única hija) of my aunt, Anabella Quillo-Kalinski, making this loss even more heartbreaking for our entire family. She was not only my cousin, but also someone I cherished and considered my little sister.

At this painful time, we humbly ask everyone to please give her immediate family, especially her mother and loved ones, the time, space, and privacy they need to mourn and grieve.

Details regarding Vanessa’s wake and funeral arrangements will be announced once the family has made the necessary arrangements.

It has come to our attention that Sen. Risa Hontiveros mistakenly linked our group, PMC Cenger Group, to the extremist group 764 and the tragic Tacloban school shooting. We would like to make it absolutely clear.

PMC Cenger Group is strictly a hobbyist airsoft group, made up of law-abiding citizens, professionals, and enthusiasts that gather solely for recreational purposes. Our group operates with the highest regard for legal boundaries and intend to follow the laws of the land.

With that said, we condemn all forms of nihilist violent extremism, including the actions of groups like 764. The recent school shooting in Tacloban was a tragic incident and our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. Such violence stands against our morals and ethics.

PMC Cenger Group has no affiliation, connection, or sympathy to any extremist or malicious actors or organizations. We do not condone, participate, support, or facilitate any violent agendas.

We understand that mistakes can happen, especially with the case of Risa Hontiveros' research team. However, words carry weight, and mislabeling a legitimate sports group can cause reputational harm, especially to innocent members of the group.
